16 continuing education hours for therapists and social workers
Maybe you're so loaded with feeling that you are afraid to breathe. You know, all that terror, rage, and despair with no place to go.
Or feel disconnected, flat, going through the motions & a little numb from all the TV.
Perhaps you feel stuck in a situation you don't know how to get out of exactly
Or maybe you can't even find your heart, like whatever happened to self-love?
Maybe your relationships suck at the moment
This series is a safe space for weekly re-opening of the heart and emotional recovery through the body.
A space to feel, express, release, and recover some capacity for facing what life brings us daily, without reprieve.
Well, this is the reprieve: an opportunity to reclaim some open space and swap the anxiety, overwhelm and despair of lonely living for regular support in a circle of radical presence.
You will have multiple opportunities (if desired) to explore – on your own, with your peers and with Zuza’s support – what’s alive, challenging, or in need of attention on your inner or outer path.
We will work with your moving body as a portal into the healing process while building capacity for embodied presence.
Through an alchemy of inner sensing, feeling, expression, and imagination we will address what needs completion in the past and explore next steps for your future.
No pushing: only what feels right for you when it's right for you.
Each session will offer essential movement practices for emotional release and spiritual resource plus/and/or depending on the day, partner practices, a little teaching, & circle sharing.
But mostly time for you to drop in and through to the other side.
Willingness to show up as is, experiment, face the music, and sometimes fail royally is required.
A great fit, though, if you want to learn, first hand, the magic of this powerful approach to embodied awakening. To make some real contact with yourself (and others), practice communication grounded in actual reality as different from interpretation, projection, analysis, or mental assessment. To relax into body, heart and spirit for true and profound belonging.
Also not a great fit if you want just to talk.
However, if you want to "just dance," this would not be a great fit.
It’s hard to find people who can hold this kind container – who have the depth, the breadth, the joy, the smarts, the enthusiasm – but somehow, you pull it all together and it’s amazing. Plus it’s fun, and it's good for me, and I’m “doing work” and healing.
SARAH PEREZ
The dance is my refuge– the inner temple as an eternal sanctuary always to return to. The more comfortable I feel in the solo dance the more alive I am with others.
I feel as if when I am facing the unknown in my life there is a force I can depend on.
- Isa
A part of me has been revealed, given space and room to breathe: the part that loves and accepts me just the way I am. The support of the circle allowed me to feel safe enough to crack open, to be seen and held in my vulnerability. Now I feel more compassion and acceptance toward everyone else in my life.
SUSAN McDANIEL
The practice has allowed me to be more present in my work and at home. I’ve learned to observe more and speak less in relationship with my teenagers. I drop into the moment and feel my body which allows me to respond, rather than react.
- Elizabeth Crowley – Advanced Bodyworker, Movement Teacher, Mom
Zuza creates a magic space for the participants which is rooted in her big heart and seems to expand endlessly into the open sky! She is a truly trustworthy leader who is walking (dancing) her talk.

I come back because of how this practice has created so much more ease in my life. It has absolutely changed how I teach, and parent, and how I am in relationship. Pause. Breathe. Lean into the back body. What's real and true right now?
- Loretta Mijares, English Professor, Mom
I come here to move, find myself, feel deep places within. Whether frustrated, sad, worried, joyous, happy, angry, pained or free, all of it is possible to feel and love and express. I feel, sense, intuit, relate, grow, communicate.
- Debra Schubert – Movement Therapist and Bodyworker
Habits, patterns, emotion in motion: through the invitation to move, what was stuck in me finds a way out. An opportunity to be with others on the move, rough and smooth. It helps create a little something to carry on into regular life, even to give to others.
- Mark Bauman – Bodywork Therapist and Movement Awareness Educator
This dance allows me to drop away from myself into a state of being that is pure impulse, presence and flow, then connect with others from this place of resonance with a bigger presence in the world.
- Susan McDaniel – Healing Artist
I have learned to accept that everyone has their own dance. The practice teaches in such a literal way that there is an ebb and flow to all of life, all situations.
Patience, acceptance, inclusion.
- Timothy Wood – Carpenter
