Body Process

An immersive, small group, weeklong residential

Explore a meeting between self and other in a dance that is deeply creative, nourishing, emotionally savvy, opening, and transforming.

Experience your moving body as a portal into the healing process while building capacity for embodied presence.

This small group in-person workshop offers individual attention and support for your personal and professional growth.

An invitation into movement toward the dynamic stillness at the center of all things — the place of rest at the heart of sound and motion.

An intimate taste of the revelation and release possible in a very short time on this healing path integrating deep inner work grounded in Gestalt, somatics, relational psychotherapy, and trauma studies, held in the context of the sacred reality of All Life.

In this immersive retreat, you will receive

Multiple opportunities (if desired) to explore – on your own, with your peers and with Zuza’s support – what’s alive, challenging, or in need of attention on your inner or outer path.

Foundational Awareness

  • Tune into the subtle language of body and breath.
  • Uncover the interplay between sensation, feeling, and emotion.
  • Use movement as a portal to access and express your inner landscape.

What we will explore:

Emotional Fluency

  • Navigate the spectrum between emotional suppression and uncontained expression.
  • Build resilience and flexibility in your emotional responses.
  • Discover resources for self-regulation, especially in challenging moments.

Relational Dynamics

  • Explore movement in solo, paired, and group contexts.
  • Develop your capacity for non-judgmental presence and empathy.
  • Refine your ability to communicate authentically from present-moment experience.

Boundary Awareness

  • Investigate personal boundaries through somatic exploration.
  • Learn to recognize, set, and respect limits - yours and others'.
  • Understand how boundaries shape your patterns of relating.

Embodied Spirituality

  • Experience spiritual opening as a lived, physical phenomenon.
  • Connect with nature as a source of grounding and inspiration.
  • Cultivate a sense of presence that transcends conceptual thinking.

Practical Integration

  • Develop physical, emotional, and spiritual resources for daily life.
  • Learn to access embodied awareness in the midst of everyday activities.
  • Bridge the gap between workshop insights and real-world application.

This workshop offers a blend of movement & other somatic explorations and inner work sessions with Zuza.

What we will do:

Through conscious movement, witness practice, and verbal reflection, discover new layers of your interior life and develop a more nuanced insight your interactions with the world.

Rediscover Your authenticity, creativity, and joy through the transformative power of conscious movement and the healing power of embodied presence.

Drop into our heart, reconnect with what most matters to us, and feel alive again in this messy, mysterious, magnificent human body.

Grow our embodied wisdom as a vital foundation for self-care, relational competency, and lasting spiritual development.

Are you looking for new experiential ways of working with your clients or students?

Therapists, teachers, coaches, or body workers:

skills & practices in This workshop will help you enhance your therapeutic modalities by including  experiential SOMATIC  interventions.

(But you may not need another tool in your toolbox. You might just need a place to land.)

Are you intrigued by the possibility of integrating conscious movement into your clinical practice, teaching, or small group work?

Could you use a slow, supportive space to feel more at home in your work—and your own body?

What if this isn’t about technique but a practice of being embodied, so you can be with others more fully?

– Stephen Schwartz

The body is a dense and visible aspect of a unified field. It can’t be separated from the field in which it lives. The whole body accepts. It accepts our loneliness, our grief, our anger, our bounty, our abundance, and our love.

I love the sacred invitation to move freely with a group of soulful humans - in silence and sound, solo and together, small and big ways and waves. Again and again, I am brought to my edges with safety, compassion and joy.
