Continuing Education Credits
Zuza Engler is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education programs for LMFT, LCSW, and LPCC and maintains responsibility for those programs and their content.
For courses meeting the qualifications for continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, and LPCCs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, one contact hour equals one CE credit.
Lunch time and other breaks do not count toward CE credits.
Please note. We do not offer CE credits for partial attendance. Thank you for your understanding.
Cancellation Policy
The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
For cancellations more than 30 days before start of program the balance fee (or balance installment amounts if applicable) will be refunded. These amounts will be detailed in the Confirmation Payment Email sent to participants after we receive their payments.
Participants requesting a refund should email Angel. Refunds will be issued within 10 days from the request date in the form in which they were received (e.g., via PayPal, Venmo, or check).
Please note: No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 30 days of program start, partial attendance, or no-shows.
Awarding Course Credits Process
Participant must have completed the workshop attendance roster showing dates, sign- in/sign-out log, and signature.
Must have completed and signed a Course Evaluation.
Must request CEs from the CE Program Administrator via email.
The Program Administrator will email the Certificate of Completion within 10 days, and after receipt of the $25 certificate fee.
CE records will be maintained for 4 years, as per CAMFT specification. Past records can be requested by emailing Angel. We will issue a new Certificate of Completion within 10 days, free of charge.
Grievance Policy
While we go to great lengths to ensure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems, if, as a participant in our classes or workshops, you have a concern or a complaint, please follow these instructions:
Speak to Zuza directly after the class/workshop. If that is not possible, email Angel, Zuza’s administrative assistant, and describe your concern/complaint.
Angel will confirm receipt of email within 2 business days and provide an answer within 4 business days.
If Angel cannot resolve your complaint, you will hear from Zuza directly either by email or phone as needed within 7 days.
If you request action, Zuza will attempt to move you to another workshop; or provide a credit for another workshop; or provide a partial or full refund of the workshop fee.
